Bloody Gerry Short Rib Barbecue Recipe and BBQ Sauce

BLOODY GERRY GOES BBQ
Since being in quarantine we decided to subscribe to a meat delivery service called ButcherBox! Our friends Carter and Natacha have been recommending it to us for months and it was the unexpectedly right time to get started. In our recent box we got short ribs and considering we had no barbecue sauce and we weren't going to the store to get it, we elected to make our own bbq sauce from scratch. Starting with Bloody Gerry as the base, instead of ketchup, add all the ingredients below into a pan and simmer until it reduces to your desired consistency. Add to your ribs as you cook them at 200-220 degrees Fahrenheit for 4-6 hours or until internal meat temp reaches 175-190 which is when the connective tissue and collagen break down and the meat becomes fall-off-the-bone mouth-wateringly tender.

2 cups Bloody Gerry Premium Bloody Mary Mix
1/4 cup honey
1tbsp soy sauce
1/2 Tbsp cumin
1/2 balsamic vinegar
1 tsp mustard
1/2 tbsp chili powder
See how it's made in our video here!
